Palmares Ocean Living & Golf<\/a> is leading the way for golf in Portugal in 2025 after being chosen to stage a number of high-profile prestigious tournaments in the Algarve this winter. <\/p>

The luxury 27-hole resort has been the focal point of the region since the start of year, being selected to host no fewer than six events on the burgeoning PT Tour as well as the 44th<\/sup> edition of the Almond Blossom Tournament \u2013 the Algarve\u2019s oldest amateur golf tournament \u2013 at the end of last month.<\/p>

Played across a combination of Palmares\u2019 three nine-hole loops \u2013 the Alvor, Lagos and Praia \u2013 the PT Tour tournaments have attracted a collection of Portugal and the continent\u2019s top golfers, with notable names including leading Portuguese stars Pedro Figueireido and Ricardo Melo Gouveia and Mark Power from Ireland.<\/p>

Gouveia and Lars Van Meijel have already celebrated victory at the venue over the last month and the pair will be among the players chasing success and a \u20ac15,000 prize fund when the venue stages the finale of the PT Tour, the Optilink Tour Championship, from February 25-27.<\/p>

In addition, Palmares also had the honour of staging the Almond Blossom Tournament from January 21-25 last month \u2013 an event which is renowned throughout the Algarve for combining competitive spirit, camaraderie and the stunning backdrop of the Almond Blossom season.<\/p>

Portugal\u2019s premier golfing destinations, with the golf offering complemented by an array of outstanding hospitality and gastronomic experiences and real-estate opportunities. Golfers looking to stay at Palmares can choose from a wide range of luxurious accommodation, including opulent one, two and three-bedroom signature apartments and a boutique Beach Hotel.<\/p>

Stay-and-play packages are available for both, with prices for a five-night bed-and-breakfast break for two people in an apartment starting from \u20ac356 per person.<\/p>
